Hiatus over! Good to be back and posting these, I think I just needed a little time away from my work so I could miss doing it is all. I've made another dent in the rough draft over the last week, and also gotten a better idea of who I'll be publishing with and how. (Probably Alpha Publishing.) I have some cash money set aside to get the project off the ground, and ideally I make at least double what I put into it so I can make back what I spent and turn enough profit to print another round of books.
As for the actual book, this chapter's fun. I know I probably say that with a lot of the chapters, but this is where the series really feels like it's starting. Glad to have gotten to this point, and I'm looking forward to what's next.
