Gotta love eyeball injuries. Hopefully I can skirt past this being considered too violent by publishers with the fact that there's no blood, it's just a sort of supernatural goop controlled with magic beast eyes. This is one of the first times I've attempted an action scene like this, and I think it turned out ok but I definitely wanna do better next time Connor gets into a mess like this. (Which, knowing him, will probably be often.)
I'm getting ahead of the game again, finished with pg 93 now and will hopefully be finishing up 95 by this Friday. I had gone into this chapter hoping it'd be a little shorter than the last one but it's looking like it's also gonna be exactly thirty pages. We're almost done though, and I get to change up the scenery with the next chapter. Get ready for lore and exposition.........
