This next chapter is gonna be pretty quick on my end, not a lot of background work to do and it's also very short compared to the last couple of chapters. In hindsight, I should've tried to split those two into three, but now I know better for next time. (Hopefully.) I won't say more than that until we actually get there, which will be next Friday.
We're over the halfway point for the book I think, I mean I originally estimated it to be between 150-200 pages and I think that still holds up. Ami's been helping me out a lot with looking into the business side of all this, we've been researching printing prices, distributing stuff, and other financial business that I have a pretty hard time wrapping my head around. This book would sell for around 15$ in a bookstore, and that's for paperback copies with satin pages and full color. (I kinda wanted to do gloss pages but that would up the price a considerable amount.) We've been looking into publishers too, and ideally I'd want a big name like Scholastic or Penguin but I might just reach out to a smaller company specifically aimed at graphic novels, like Dark Horse. I dunno yet, we're kinda feeling it out.
Anyways, as far as the actual comic goes, I don't like the look of that gem. That's an evil gem if I ever did seen' one. More to come, thanks for reading.
